ASC is the canonical Hellenistic choice and the right default for general work and life direction. Fortune is the second most common anchor and is recommended for material, body, and livelihood questions. Sun tracks vitality and identity arcs. Moon tracks emotional and household timing. Nocturnal charts automatically use the night-sect formula for the Lot of Fortune (ASC + Sun - Moon). Age 0 starts cleanly at the anchor sign with no off-by-one errors. What house system does the API use?

Annual, monthly, daily, and continuous endpoints are anchor-agnostic and do not depend on a house system. If you need other house systems for the natal chart itself, use the /natal endpoint, then feed the same birth data into profections.
