Our API uses convolutional neural networks (CNNs) trained on 500,000+ palm images across different ethnicities, ages, and lighting conditions.

When you send an image, we first normalize it (correct rotation, lighting, cropping), then run detection for the 4 major lines (Heart, Head, Life, Fate).

Each detection includes confidence scores (0.0-1.0) and exact coordinates.

Most detections complete in under 900ms.

The magic happens through edge detection combined with ML classification - we identify not just where lines are, but their quality (deep, shallow, broken, chained) and special markings (stars, crosses, islands).

Minor lines (5 types) are coming soon, mounts analysis is available for Enterprise plans.

Currently we detect 4 Major Lines: Heart Line (emotions, relationships), Head Line (intellect, decision-making), Life Line (vitality, life changes), Fate Line (career, life path).

Coming soon: 5 Minor Lines (Sun, Marriage, Health, Children, Bracelet).

For Enterprise packages, we offer 7 Mounts analysis: Jupiter (ambition), Saturn (responsibility), Apollo/Sun (creativity), Mercury (communication), Venus (love, passion), Mars Inner/Outer (courage, willpower), Luna (imagination) - this requires significant computational resources.

We also classify hand shape into Fire (passionate), Earth (practical), Air (intellectual), or Water (emotional) types.

Each feature comes with confidence scores and interpretation text.

We auto-correct minor rotation and exposure issues.

Let's be real about what "accuracy" means here.

Our major line detection achieves 77-88% accuracy depending on image quality and hand type.

The remaining 12-23% aren't completely wrong - they have minor positioning errors that rarely affect the overall interpretation.

Think of it like GPS: sometimes you're 10 meters off, but you still find the restaurant.

Minor lines (coming soon) will have 60-75% accuracy due to their faintness.

Mounts analysis (Enterprise) achieves 65-95% depending on prominence.

Interpretation accuracy is different - palmistry is a divination practice, not science.
