Universal tradition uses accessible, mythological language ideal for consumer apps and self-discovery tools. Psychological tradition uses depth-psychology and clinical framing — better for coaching platforms, therapy adjuncts and professional tools. Pass tradition='universal' or tradition='psychological' in the request.

Do I need exact birth time?

Birth time produces the most accurate archetype profile because house placements depend on it. Without birth time you'll still get a meaningful profile from Sun, Moon and planet sign placements, but the house-based contributions will be reduced. For best results require exact birth time in your UI.
